LHH is seeking a Recruiter for a long-term contract opportunity with our Richmond, VA client. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations to managers. This role requires excellent communication skills to understand job functions and collaborate effectively with hiring managers. This is a hybrid role. Fully remote not an option. Key Responsibilities: Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various channels to source potential candidates, including job boards, social media, and networking. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates. Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Hiring Recommendations: Provide detailed feedback and recommendations to hiring managers based on interview assessments. Communication with Managers: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job functions, requirements, and expectations. Ensure alignment on candidate profiles and hiring timelines. Job Posting and Advertising: Create and post job advertisements on various platforms. Ensure job descriptions are accurate and appealing to potential candidates. Candidate Experience: Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Provide timely updates and feedback to candidates. Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and relevant employment laws and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred Proven experience as a recruiter Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. Strong organizational and time management skills.
