GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Human Resources Recruiter under the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer will work to fill vacancies and achieve business goals by acting as the day-to-day point of contact for filling open positions for multiple departments. This position also includes generalist Human Resources responsibilities, including but not limited to project-based work, training, data entry and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Other:
A minimum of three years full cycle recruiting and prior applicant tracking to source and manage candidates is required. Excellent customer service and communication skills required, including organization, relationship-building and proactive follow up with candidates and internal and external customers. Must be flexible and a good team player, comfortable with managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Need intermediate experience with Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for full cycle recruiting for a variety of positions, including administrative support, direct care and jobs at customer work sites.
- Create appropriate search strategies through use of job boards, written material, social media, job fairs, etc.
- Develop partnerships with universities, colleges and other professional networks.
- Conduct phone screens, face-to-face interviews, administer pre-employment tests, conduct reference checks and run background screens.
- Coordinate the offer process and appropriate candidate, client and employee follow up.
- Assist with the creation, maintenance and distribution of reporting on recruitment activity to track overall recruitment performance.
- Responsible for collecting of personnel files. All onboarding documents. Create, maintain, audit and generate employment related reports.
- Facilitate the processing of all new hire paperwork to ensure compliance and effective and efficient onboarding.
- Conduct general onboarding to ensure a welcoming start for all new hires. The facilitation of new hire orientation may be required at times.
- Perform additional tasks functions as directed by HR manager or Chief Human Resources Officer.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental conditions:
- Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
- Ability to work in a confined area.
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
Physical requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard, reach, stoop, kneel to install computer equipment.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting in required.
