We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter in the construction field to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring skilled construction professionals for various roles. You will collaborate with hiring managers and project leads to understand staffing needs and ensure the timely placement of qualified candidates in construction-related roles. Some of the roles you might be focusing on include residential maintenance, HVAC technicians, plumbers, clerical positions, and management, among others.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting Market Directors and other leaders in all aspects of the recruiting, interviewing and onboarding functions.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, timelines, and required qualifications.
  • Utilize various recruitment tools, platforms, and strategies to reach passive and active candidates.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Manage postings and applicant flow through the ADP applicant tracking system.
  • Must be able to build and manage a bench of potential hires, ensuring a solid pipeline at all times
  • Build strong relationships with industry associations, trade schools, and apprenticeship programs
  • Responsible for compliance with local, state and federal employment laws
  • Assist in extending offers to selected candidates, including salary negotiation.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitor practices.

Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience Preferred:

  • 1-2 years of demonstrated hands-on recruiting experience.
  • Ability to utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including but not limited to: conducting web and social media searches.
  • Experience recruiting for large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with local and national construction talent markets.
  • Working knowledge of ADP recruiting platform a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
