Work Location: This role is onsite (5 days per week) at our Aftermath Headquarters in Aurora, Illinois.
We are searching for a Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. In this role you will support our Aftermath brand and be responsible for high volume, full lifecycle recruitment, which includes partnering closely with hiring managers and HR leaders to understand staffing needs and implementing and refining a well-rounded recruitment strategy to deliver quality candidates to fill assigned positions. In this role you will have the opportunity to drive all recruiting activities, such as intake meetings, job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and delivering exceptional service. You will utilizes an applicant tracking system (ATS) to track the interviewing, hiring, and offer process.
What you will do:
- Partner with hiring managers and business partners to assess current and future staffing needs and implement effective recruiting strategies.
- Deliver high volume, full lifecycle recruiting activities to ensure staffing needs are met and roles are filled with the best talent. This includes but is not limited to:
- Posting talent opportunities on the Company career site and leading job boards
- Proactively sourcing and engaging passive candidates, past applicants, employee referrals, and prospects to develop deeper and more diverse candidate pipelines
- Thoroughly prescreening, and then presenting qualified candidates to the hiring teams
- Leading the offer process to close and hire selected talent
- Provide frequent communication, feedback, and insights to assist hiring managers in navigating the talent market, candidate pool, and selection process while focusing on delivering a positive candidate experience.
- Contribute and participate in the continuous improvement of the recruiting process.
- Maintain or exceed established KPIs, including time to fill, hiring targets, quality of hire metrics, and survey satisfaction scores.
- Build partnerships with colleges, universities, and technical schools to understand the job placement platforms to increase the candidate pipeline for entry-level roles.
- Build partnerships with veteran associations and leverage efforts to increase our veteran and military recruiting pipelines.
- Act as a first line ambassador of the Company to engage and attract talent, building pipelines for current and future opportunities.
- Ensure the recruiting process aligns with workforce needs and maintain all regulatory compliance and federal and local laws.
What you will bring:
- An exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices and the ability to deliver effective recruitment strategies
- General human resource knowledge, including employment laws and regulations as they relate to the hiring process
- Prescreening skills and knowledge of behavior-based interviewing techniques with the ability to effectively assess candidates
- Ability to work with a variety of jobs, including hourly, high volume, office-based, and field-based positions
- Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to speak publicly and with all levels of leadership within an organization
- Exceptional written communication skills with an attention to detail in effectively branding or marketing open positions
- Must be flexible and able to adjust priorities to meet changing deadlines and business needs
- Experience using an ATS to track and manage the recruiting and hiring process
- Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or closely related field preferred; degree may be offset by relevant and substantial work experience in full lifecycle recruitment
- A minimum of 2-3 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Compensation Details:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 to $75,000.
