About the Role Adopts a service led approach to developing key professional relationships with our customers, and building a sustainable pipeline of business, in order to support our client’s needs whilst generating continued business growth and revenue, acting in line with the ProClinical service attributes. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Development Engage in business development activity to generate revenue and impact GP growth Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the markets and industry, trends and competitor landscape, adapting approach to business accordingly Actively shares industry knowledge and insights with the business to recommend target markets and clients Understands the end to end sales process and the key roles played by support services colleagues and views efficient delivery of all aspects of the cycle of service (from admin through to sales and aftercare) as equally important to world class service experience to clients and candidates Demonstrates awareness of the wider ProClinical brands and sectors,and is able to identify business opportunities outside of own remit, liaising with management and colleagues as appropriates Customer Relationship Management Invests in regular face to face meetings and time on client site to develop professional and mutually beneficial long‐term relationships with existing clients and candidates to maximize and develop business opportunities whilst adding continuous value to the customer; in line with ProClinical service attributes Providing consultative advice to clients and candidates (based on extensive Sector / Market knowledge) to ensure relevant recruitment solutions are provided Understands the lifetime value of a customer and will ensure a positive customer experience from initial engagement through to after‐placement support, and on‐going throughout the customer journey Responding to client and candidate requests, ensuring all communications are handled within the required time‐frame, issues resolved in a timely manner; escalating complex matters when required in the interests of service delivery Manages the customer’s expectations; clearly articulates our proposition and service attributes; justifying our approach and services, utilizing “kite” opportunities to enhance client relationships Actively seeks customer feedback (surveys, testimonials) to drive continuous service improvement Sales & Marketing Identifying and executing opportunities to drive personal and brand reputation within the market place in a professional manner Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities through extensive professional networking and targeted marketing, uses skillful questioning techniques to generate new leads and understand short/medium‐ and long‐term requirements of clients Negotiating commercially appropriate terms of business & preferred supplier agreements Adhering to relevant sales policies, best practice processes & compliance regulations Meeting agreed performance standards that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a revenue target, repeat/ penetration business or sales leads generated that create business pipeline and world class service People / Stakeholder Management Maintaining external vendor and partner relationships (e.g. payroll companies) Setting best in class standards for recruitment and providing thought leadership; promoting the importance and benefits of providing world class service Supporting consultant training and development needs to improve service, productivity & customer retention Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Strong understanding of ProClinical brands and service attributes Extensive knowledge of the relevant recruitment sector /industry and market Strong IT skills in the use of relevant applications Strong planning and organizational skills with a proven ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks &projects Effective communication skills (Note: ProClinical internal business language is English) Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building skills Proven role model of professionalism and company values Proven ability to make commercial decisions to improve service, performance and profitability Previous experience of meeting / exceeding agreed performance standards Previous experience in a sales and/or customer‐led environment Previous experience of negotiating commercial agreements (e.g. SLAs, employment contracts, etc.)
