Job Description Summary

GE Aerospace Lean Leaders are at the forefront of the drive to embed lean into the fiber of what we do. In addition to building lean skills from both a cultural and tool-based perspective, lean leaders need a solid base of coaching their teams and peers, leading through change, as well as being able to easily connect the dots between the various parts of the GE Aerospace Lean System. Lean leaders embody and demonstrate the culture shift to provide psychological safety as the teams they support embrace change.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Owns/influences budgets, operating strategic plans, Hoshin Kanri, action plans and WOR/MOR. Guided by operating policy and works with cross functional teams. High levels of evaluative judgment, operational and business acumen required to achieve outcomes in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. Developed expertise in lean. May include roles that are experts in their discipline, providing professional or thought leadership. In-depth knowledge of best practices and how to integrate with others, working knowledge of competition and factors differentiating the market. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developed persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field. Leadership Expectations and Behaviors

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing/Operations Supply Chain.

Desired Characteristics Business Lean Leader; Operations Leader; Business Operations Leader experience. Lean Strategy development/alignment with execution of tactical action plan. Twenty-Five, 5-Day kaizen events as a facilitator, lead/co-lead, or participant with verifiable documentation to lean experience.

This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens. GE will require proof of status.

The base pay range for this position is $111,700 - $150,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on January 31st, 2025.
