The Recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. They should attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. The Recruiter will have work experience in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates. Ultimately, the responsibility of the Recruiter is to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Researches and analyzes applicant pool sources (including social media, professional network sites, community partnerships, non-profits, educational organizations, local government groups) to identify and implement opportunities for improvement in the sourcing, selection, hiring, and onboarding processes
- Organizes, schedules and attends company open house recruiting events, job fairs, community events, and ongoing professional development training
- Presents appropriate talent for open positions which may include phone screening, interviewing, offer development and negotiation, closing/offer acceptance, coordinating with authorized staffing/recruiting vendors and applicable parties while noting details in the ATS and applicant flow logs
- Coordinates pre-employment tests; verifies references, background checks, drug tests, I-9, other checks, and conducts orientation as part of the employee onboarding process
- Maintain lines of communication with new hires, seek continuous feedback and offer meaningful resolution
- Assists in administration of employee record systems to include compensation, performance management, Department of Transportation (DOT) substance abuse testing, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) regulation, issued equipment and assets, and other employee record

Experience and Education:
- Two (2+) years of full cycle recruiting experience is required, preferably in a complex high-volume environment
- One (1+) year of proficiency in the use of job boards and social media in sourcing talent and promoting employer brand
- Demonstrated success with ATS platform implementation or ongoing administration
- Working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and Local employment regulations
- Two (2+) years of strong customer service and critical thinking skills and demonstrate strong consulting/influencing skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.
- Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
