Dessert Holdings is looking for a Recruiter to join our team based in Aurora, CO. This individual will be responsible for recruitment efforts of high volume of hourly positions such as production, sanitation, maintenance, and/or quality technician employees including salaried and professional positions. The Recruiter handles the process of job posting procedures, resume review and interview scheduling. In addition to running headcount reports and tracking attrition, this position will administer and/or support new hire orientation and training for all newly hired employees. This position is also responsible for understanding related Quality Management Systems including SQF, HACCP, and GMP to ensure the safety and quality of employees and products. In addition, this position will provide support and guidance to HR and operations management team as it pertains to employee relations matters that drive retention techniques and support reductions in attrition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for ensuring that candidate care is a top priority, ensuring that candidates have a positive experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Complete all new hire screening procedures as needed.
  • Handles all recruiting processes by sourcing and interviewing candidates and planning job fairs.
  • Maintain recruiting activities in an applicant tracking process/system to fill open positions in company-designated time periods.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of applicant tracker recruiting
  • Identifies ways to streamline and maximize the effectiveness of the recruiting process.
  • Identifies outreach efforts for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Represents the Company at various recruiting functions (job fairs, college fairs, etc.)
  • Manages employee referrals for applicant tracking purposes.
  • Administers and supports new hire orientation.
  • Coordinates new hire onboarding and training for all professional positions.
  • Partners with staffing agencies in ensuring recruiting goals are met.
  • Effectively integrate diversity into the staffing process to ensure and promote a diverse candidate pool.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned by the SHRM.
  • Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure safety within the workplace and the production of safe and quality product(s).
  • Support with retention efforts and the mitigation of attrition.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (reading/writing/speaking) is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in full life cycle recruiting required.
  • Minimum of one year of recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • Experience effectively managing the recruiting process for a load of at least 30-50 open positions at any given time.
  • Excellent consultative, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time, with excellent organizational skills.
  • Highly collaborative, and responsive, with excellent communication skills.
  • Must have good working knowledge of Excel, and social media/networking sites.
  • Ability to be successful in a high-demand, high-tension work environment.
