Job Summary: Recruiter - Richburg SC

Serve the Company providing guidance on selection and placement of talent at all levels of the organization. Pre-boarding and on-boarding activities and completing recruiting metrics. Assist in creating process of sourcing, attracting, recruiting, interviewing, and on-boarding associates.

Key Responsibilities

• Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings.
• Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, community network events, colleges, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
• Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
• Explores the market best practices in the recruitment and staffing and implement appropriate best practices in the organization
• Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
• Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
• Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, etc.).
• Manages current candidate activity on company website job board.
• Acts as a single point of contact for managers regarding recruitment topics.
• Manages relationship with all vendors including staffing agencies.
• Create hiring events for high volume recruitment needs.
• Facilitate training as needed on recruitment process
• Assist with other Human Resources functions as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources/business or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of recruiting experience/Staffing experience a plus
• Awareness of market best-in-class capabilities of a recruiting process, or the ability to quickly gather and organize this information
• Entry-level, mid-level and executive role recruiting experience
• Very effective presentation development implementation skills
• Experience managing a high-volume recruiting environment
• Strong communications skills that can succeed in a deeply democratic leadership environment
• Versatile personality that can succeed in a quickly growing, dynamic, and rapidly changing work environment.

Bilingual is a plus!

Our family-owned company started in 1951 making bicycle tires and inner tubes in Indonesia. In 1981, the company began making passenger and commercial tires. In 1993, we opened our first tire plant in China and have grown to seven tire plants in China, making 140,700 tires a day and employing 19,000. We also own almost 50 percent of Gajah Tunggal tire company in Indonesia. The combined output of the Chinese and Indonesian plants makes Giti the 10th largest tire company by production volume.
