Job Description
At Trunk Tools, we are tackling the massive $13 trillion+ construction industry. We’re an exceptional team of serial entrepreneurs, brought together by our shared mission: automating construction. Our founding team (SpaceX, Stanford, MIT, Carta, etc.) has successfully built and deployed software in construction for 140k+ users, millions of users beyond the construction space, and worked on +$2 billion of built-environment projects. We aren’t another out-of-touch tech startup, most of our team comes from construction.
We spent the last few years building the brain behind construction. Now we are deploying workflows/ agents, starting with Q&A document chatbot, to be ingrained in construction teams’ workflows, ultimately to automate construction. Given our immense traction with several Fortune 500 construction companies, we are doubling our team in order to deploy several more agents this year. You will have an opportunity to drive the transformation of a multi-trillion-dollar industry full of waste, risks and inefficiencies.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Recruiter to be an integral part of our Operations Team! This includes managing and optimizing the ATS system, creating detailed reports on the candidate pipeline, and collaborating with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, scorecards, and interview frameworks.
Partner with External Recruitment Resources: Develop and maintain relationships with external recruiters and agencies. Lead and manage our internal referrals program to ensure a robust pipeline of high-quality candidates.
Enhance the Candidate Experience: Own and enhance the entire candidate journey from sourcing to onboarding. Build strong relationships with candidates, providing exceptional communication and support throughout the interview process to ensure a seamless and positive experience.
Coordinate Interviews and Assessments: Oversee scheduling for all virtual and on-site interviews, ensuring efficient coordination between candidates and interviewers, and maintaining a high standard of organization and professionalism.
Champion Diversity & Inclusion: Act as a cultural leader within the company, driving initiatives to ensure diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of all recruiting activities. Promote our brand and values in all recruitment communications and interactions.
Source Top Talent: Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to proactively identify and engage high-caliber candidates. Leverage outbound campaigns, networking, and industry events to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates, in addition to reviewing inbound applications.
Who you are:
5+ years of Experience: Demonstrated experience as a full-cycle recruiter or talent acquisition specialist in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally within an early-stage startup or similar dynamic setting.

Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
Strategic Thinker with a Hands-On Approach: Able to think strategically about talent needs while also being willing to dive into the details to ensure successful execution of recruitment efforts.
