Kaiser Transport, Inc. is an OTR LTL double-drop, step-deck freight consolidating trucking company in Janesville, WI specializing in hauling machines, equipment, and other freight.

We are pioneers of TSS (Trailer-space-sharing) long haul, open deck trucking. Our current fleet of 2022 or newer 389 and 589 Peterbilts operates from coast to coast and in Canada.

Kaiser Transport, Inc. is seeking a hard-working, highly motivated, individual. This person will be eager to learn Kaiser's business model and recruiting process, which are critical to the Company's success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the applicant process by reviewing and qualifying applications and resumes.
  2. Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for further consideration.
  3. Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit for the company.
  4. Implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified long-haul drivers.
  5. Utilize a sales-based recruitment strategy.
  6. Warm-calling, prospecting, and revitalizing potential candidates.
  7. Coordinate and assist with company training initiatives.
  8. Develop and maintain DOT candidate tracking files.
  9. Maintain documentation needed within company and vendor databases, including ApplicantPro and Truck Mate software programs.
  10. Participate in regular department update meetings and update Driver Recruiting Documentation.
  11. Be accountable for open Driver positions for all Kaiser Companies.
  12. Be available to work flexible hours as needed.

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Associates degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar field (preferred)
  • Experience in the Transportation industry (preferred)
  • Experience in Applicant Tracking Systems (preferred)
