Job Description
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Midwest Realty is seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruiter/Team Leader (R/TL) to provide leadership and spearhead growth in our expansive South Dakota Black Hills region. The ideal candidate will drive recruitment efforts and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company by potentially contributing to the opening of new offices across the region. As a key member of the leadership team for BHHS Midwest Realty—currently operating across three locations with nearly 100 licensed real estate professionals—the R/TL will help shape the strategic direction of the company.
In this role, the R/TL will focus on aggressive agent growth while fostering collaboration with the leadership team and building consultative relationships with top-producing agents. This position requires an individual who can articulate and execute a bold vision, while ensuring critical milestones are achieved along the way. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the R/TL will inspire and lead through both spoken and written word.
Duties & Responsibilities
As a senior leader within BHHS Midwest Realty, the R/TL will:
- Lead and execute strategic initiatives to rapidly recruit high-performing and high-potential real estate agents.
- Support the hiring, development, and leadership of staff, ensuring they meet high-performance standards through training and accountability.
- Oversee the financial performance of the office, making data-driven adjustments to maximize profitability.
- Provide strategic business development and financial consulting to top agents, enabling significant growth in their production and performance.
- Foster a learning-driven culture by ensuring agents have access to cutting-edge training and professional development opportunities.
- Cultivate a positive and empowering work environment that challenges associates to reach their full potential while prioritizing a people-first, supportive atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and consistently recruit top talent.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of driving growth and development, ideally within a high-growth or startup environment.
- Strong verbal leadership, communication skills, and professional poise.
- While real estate experience is preferred, candidates with exceptional leadership backgrounds in other fields will be considered.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team while also thriving independently.
