Recruiter Pittsburgh, PA 15206 (Shadyside Area)

  • Full-time hire as an employee of the Company with full access to benefits
  • Monday – Friday – Daylight schedule
  • $54,600 70,000 per year as new employee (performance raises available, after hire)
  • After hire, additional performance-based increases in compensation can be earned up to $95,000 per year
Must have at minimum all of the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources, or related field and minimum 2+ years RECENT AND RELEVANT work experience in recruitment or admissions REQUIRED
  • Will consider High School Diploma COMBINED with 3+ years of recruitment-specific experience - REQUIRED
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required
  • Experience with ATS (applicant tracking system) and/or HRIS systems – REQUIRED
  • Strong computer skills: database management and spreadsheets
  • Demonstrated leadership, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and outstanding organizational skills
  • 2+ years’ experience with recruitment with Bachelor’s degree in a student environment
  • Knowledge of student admissions regulations
  • Ability to work with a diverse student population
Purpose of the Position:
Play a key role in the recruitment and admissions efforts for students. Provide support and guidance to students. Manage student records maintaining compliance with school, state and federal regulations. Engage in internal and external recruitment events. Build relationships for successful student enrollment.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively recruit prospective students through various channels, including high school visits, college fairs, open houses, and information sessions.
  • Help raise awareness of the schools and drive enrollment goals.
  • Building Relationships: Cultivate strong partnerships with schools, professional organizations, and community groups to identify and attract qualified students.
  • Collect and review applicant documents to ensure completeness and accuracy. Coordinate the collection of outstanding documentation and create student files for review. Support applicants through the admission process and extend offers to students.
  • Coordinate and conduct individual meetings with prospective students to discuss program opportunities and answer questions.
  • Provide monthly recruitment reports and collaborate with team members to develop strategies to boost recruitment efforts
  • Identify challenges in the recruitment and admissions processes and propose solutions to enhance enrollment outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Directors and Directors to maintain regular communication with potential candidates and create strategies to keep them engaged.
  • Identify resources for prospective students who may need remedial work prior to or after the testing process.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications, HR, and HR Partners to design and execute marketing strategies that promote the schools.
