Precision Medicine Scientist

JRAD is seeking a highly qualified Precision Medicine Scientist to support health technology development initiatives for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).
Roles/Responsibilities:
This role requires extensive experience in precision medicine or genomics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gene expression, drug-resistant tumors, other rare disease research, mental health treatment, strategy development, or health policy research.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Analysis and Execution:
Engage in a versatile role, collaborating with the Government to define, execute, and oversee technology development initiatives. Provide on-demand proposal support and assist project leads in executing multiple advanced technology programs.
Project Management:
Manage projects, identify and implement accessible technology solutions, and identify technology solutions that need to exist to solve problems. Coordinate program activities with team members, plan tasks, and monitor execution progress.
Oversight and Coordination:
Support the oversight of program activity, budget, and contractor progress. Ensure efficient operations and timely product completion.
Contract and Acquisition Support:
Provide contract management and acquisition support. Develop program briefings for Government stakeholders. Contribute to program plans, briefings, and technical reports.
Technical Support and Communication:
Organize technical meetings and conferences. Assist in the development of technical documentation and reports.
Required Skills and Education: PhD in Biophysics, Psychology, Oncological Sciences, or a related scientific field. 10+ years of relevant experience. Preferred Experience: Background in gene expression, drug-resistant tumors, other rare disease research, mental health treatment, strategy development, or health policy research.
