Make a difference in animal lives!! We are looking to hire a part-time veterinary assistant. We are strictly an outpatient surgical clinic for dogs and cats. Work days are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:45am to as late as 5:15pm. Please DO NOT apply if you are not available during those hours. You do not need to have prior veterinary hospital experience; however, it is STRONGLY preferred. Prior paid work experience with animals IS necessary. You must be able to lift 50lbs, independently and repeatedly; work closely with other veterinary assistants and veterinarians; be comfortable handling dogs and cats; able to bend and kneel repeatedly; and stand for extended periods of time.
