Employment Type: 3 month contract with possibility of extension or conversion to permanent
Salary: $20-$25 per hour
Schedule: Mondays and Fridays, 8am-5pm each day (16 hours per week)

Job Description:
LHH Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Leasing Specialist to join our client's team in Portland, OR. This is a 3-month contract position with the potential to convert to a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have some exposure to Real Estate or Property Management, excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in a friendly and professional manner.
- Conduct property tours and highlight the features and benefits of the community.
- Process rental applications and lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and transactions.
- Address tenant inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist with marketing and promotional activities to attract new tenants.
- Ensure the property is well-maintained and presentable at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in real estate or property management is a plus.
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, or a related field is preferred. Real Estate, administrative or customer service skills would also be transferrable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software is preferred, or the ability to learn a new system.
