From enriching our musical heritage to preparing the diverse pool of tomorrow’s vocal stars, DGF positively impacts how artists are valued in this nation, encouraging inclusive opportunity, access, and advocacy for the next generation.POSITION SUMMARY:Reporting to the Executive Director, the Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in the Foundation, responsible for optimizing and executing the foundation's operational efficiency with respect to the logistics and planning of key programs and strategic initiatives. The Logistics Coordinator will be expected to attend events and work remotely up to 50% of the time, and perhaps more.RESPONSIBILITIES:Operational Excellence:
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.Logistics Management:
Oversee logistics planning and execution for foundation events, programs, and initiatives.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics.Provide project and program management support where necessary.Strategic Planning:
Collaborate closely with the executive team to develop, refine, and implement strategic plans aligned with the foundation's mission.Conduct research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.Financial Oversight:
Assist in annual budget preparation and contribute to financial planning throughout the year.Manage financial controls, monitor budgetary performance, and identify areas for optimization.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Facilitate communication and collaboration among various departments to ensure alignment with strategic goals.Function as a liaison between departments to foster cohesive operations.Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.Data Analysis & Reporting:
Utilize data analysis to evaluate the impact of operational and strategic initiatives.Generate periodic reports for executive review.Team Leadership:
Lead and inspire a high-performing operations team.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members for professional development.Other Duties as assigned:
The Foundation maintains the right to establish timelines and set deliverables for the Logistics Coordinator to perform services to the benefit of the Foundation.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in business or a related field. A singer or musician with classical music experience is a plus.Self-directed, action-oriented, entrepreneurial, and innovative in his/her approach.Reliable, flexible, adaptable, and able to respond quickly to rapidly changing conditions.Superior organizational skills, with strong track record of success.Ability to work in a challenging environment and manage several tasks and meet tight deadlines.Promotes an open, diverse, and inclusive work environment, focused on cooperation and teamwork among the staff.Proactive problem-solver with an ability to think creatively and critically.Strong literacy in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel.A person of high integrity and ethical standards who is energetic, enthusiastic, empathetic, and kind.If you are an enthusiastic and knowledgeable person, we invite you to apply for this integral role at The Denyce Graves Foundation.
