Job Summary:
The Director of Corporate Relations is responsible for corporate revenue streams. This includes developing local corporate partnerships, event sponsorships, employee/corporate giving, corporate volunteer opportunities, and more. This position will lead and work collaboratively across the agency to build relationships with corporate partners and maximize funding opportunities. The position will manage a portfolio of corporate donors and prospects, qualify funders and cultivate new gifts, and contribute to overall giving goals.
The Director will identify and cultivate, and engage new corporate partners while strengthening existing corporate relationships to generate significant funding support
The ideal candidate for this role is a collaborative, results-driven self-starter who is able to build trusted relationships. In addition, we seek an individual with a strong passion for our mission and impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and capitalize on growth and broadening opportunities for new and existing donors in the corporate portfolio, cross-pollinating corporate contacts from programs, events, employment partners, vendors, and more.
Create and implement an overall corporate strategy outlining multiple ways companies can be involved with the Clearbrook mission, including but not limited to: volunteering, in-kind contributions, financial donations, grants, sponsorships, employment of Clearbrook clients, employee giving, and matching gifts.
Develop and execute a corporate pipeline development strategy to build, grow and sustain a successful corporate program. Utilize existing organizational relationships to build the pipeline, including exploring networks of board members.
Develop a list of prospective new donors by identifying corporations with the capacity and propensity to give. Work with appropriate staff and volunteers to connect high level corporate prospects
Oversee the solicitation and implementation of sponsorship-related partnerships with the events team ensuring needs are met and exploring opportunities for further philanthropic engagement beyond events
Develop and deliver presentations to internal and/or external stakeholders
Monitor and report on corporate giving and partnership activities, providing regular updates to Vice President, Development & Marketing.
Network with appropriate organizations to build organizational presence in the corporate community such as chambers of commerce and other professional networking opportunities.
Develop intentional, creative, and cost-effective stewardship initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field (preferred)
3-5 years of experience in fundraising or sales.
Proven track record in relationship building and generating increasing revenue YOY
Proficient in Microsoft office suite
Excellent writing communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
