Turning Point Care Center is seeking a talented and dynamic Director of Business Development to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!
The
Director of Business Development
oversees the provision of Sales & Marketing, Public Relations, and new business development. As a member of the senior management team, the Director of Business Development will:
Develop and implement business development programs in support of facility strategic plans.
Analyze key facility indicators and behavioral health (substance abuse and psych) industry data to recognize developing trends and respond proactively.
Recommend, participate in the development of, and grow new lines of service.
Participate in the design and implementation of monthly, seasonal, and annual strategies to enhance census development and evaluate results correspondingly.
Coordinate and oversee marketing strategies and programs including referral development, contracts, intake, tracking, social media, advertising, public relations, and community relations.
Effectively, ethically, and professionally promote Turning Point at conventions, seminars, and professional meetings. Maintain membership in and regularly attend meetings of behavioral health organizations, insurance groups, and related professional organizations.
Conduct community workshops, seminars, and hospital tours to educate the community and referral sources on programs, services and amenities provided by the facility.
Build strong collaborative relationships with admissions/intake to manage leads from referral sources ensuring efficient admissions process for clients.
Hours are based on department and facility needs and may include day, evening and weekend hours, as directed by the CEO/Managing Director. Position is based out of Moultrie, GA with routine travel in local territory and overnight travel as required.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required. Masters of Business Administration or related field highly preferred. Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree.
Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred (substance abuse and mental health treatment).
Five years minimum experience in organizational communications, referral development, workshop planning, sales management, and physician relationships preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Must possess a valid Driver’s License with:
No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
Not having multiple violations for driving without insurance
No more than 2 at fault accidents on record in the past 3 years
No convictions for DUI or DWI within the past 7 years
No convictions for serious infractions such as reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, or fleeing a police officer
No convictions for vehicular homicide manslaughter
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Georgia behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and age-specific programming
Superior leadership abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills
Marketing principles including product, placement, pricing and promotion as well as management of sales, advertising, social media, online presence and, public relations resources
Data collection and analysis
