Responsibilities: Position Summary:

This position develops and executes sourcing strategies in support of large-scale sourcing and procurement initiatives for our clients. This position reports directly to LogicSource’s Chief Procurement Officer and project manages all supply chain category experts and operations during mutual value assessments and client transitioning in a matrix organization. This role is responsible for the project management for the entire supply chain cutover and savings implementation process during deal transitions.

Responsibilities:

Develop strategic sourcing strategies as a key part of our solution to deliver on client objectives for a broad set of indirect categories for consumer-facing businesses.

Project manage a team of several supply chain subject matter experts for each specific deal in a matrix organization during Mutual Value Assessments and deal Transitioning.

Lead and ensure effective and successful implementation of supplier and sourcing strategies for our procurement outsourcing engagements.

Manage flawless supplier cutover and procurement process implementations.

Partner with the LogicSource Solutions and Client Transition teams to set expectations, establish project timelines with defined roles and responsibilities and motivate client participants and internal LogicSource stakeholders to deliver within scope and on-time.

Partner with LogicSource’s Chief of Operations for supply chain team staffing.

Matrix manage supply chain resources and suppliers across multiple concurrent client engagements, to complete sourcing and supplier cutover activities in accordance with the established project plan, objectives, and timelines.

Identify, track and resolve issues critical to LogicSource and our client’s strategic procurement and operational success.

Monitor and lead process on supplier cutover and savings implementation and deliver regular status updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Supplier cutover process includes, but is not limited to, on-boarding client incumbent suppliers into the LogicSource supplier network, setting up all suppliers with either the LogicSource or client specific NDAs and T&Cs. Negotiating and implementing supplier contracts were needed.

Prepare and deliver client presentations independently and as a part of the client transitioning process. Ensure supplier strategies are effectively implemented and suppliers are successfully cutover and on-boarded, delivering expected results.

Employ change management strategies to ensure successful evolution of procurement practices.

Remain abreast of the latest innovations in products and services and continually feed information to those serving our clients.

Provide first-rate customer service to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, internal and external.

Qualifications: Required Education and Experience:

At least ten (10) years at Senior Director or Director level, managing a team of procurement professionals, ideally in an implementation/transitioning stage.

Strong organizational and project management skills are required.

Experienced in managing both direct reports and individuals that are not direct reports within a project team in a matrix organization.

Prior experience in a project management or implementation role.

Prior experience interfacing with clients, especially within a services industry (e.g., professional consulting, BPO, outsourcing) is a plus.

Experience with e-sourcing software for indirect sourcing/procurement categories, including SAP/Ariba.

Strong communication skills with the proven ability to interact effectively with vendors, and internal or client stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Adaptable and willing to shift priorities as client needs change.

Entrepreneurial aptitude with a commitment to client service.

Analytically adept with the ability to interpret complex data for informed decision-making and to assess results.

Detail oriented with the keen ability deliver on client expectations, influencing others or escalating as needed to do so.

Proven ability to build relationships and gain credibility in areas beyond defined scope of work.

Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and leadership skills.

Proficient at using common business software applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, etc.) and project planning tools.

Travel This position travels up to 60% of the time.
