Strategic Alliance Director Alliance Defending Freedom is looking for a highly skilled Strategic Alliance Director in our Lansdowne, VA, or Lawrenceville, GA office representing our East Coast presence. You will be a vital part of the Church and Ministry Alliance team. In this role, you will report to the Director of Membership and will be responsible for cultivating strategic alliances with denominational and ministry leaders that align with ADF's Church & Ministry Alliance (CMA) objectives. This includes designing and implementing sales strategies to grow membership in (CMA) assigned regions and ministry verticals while also developing and executing member engagement strategies to meet the needs of existing members. This role will direct and manage the Regional Membership team to increase membership, engagement, renewals, and retention. The objective is to equip and educate members, bringing awareness and participation in ADF's advocacy work to keep the door open for the Gospel. Responsibilities
Build Strategic Alliances: Manage a portfolio of executive-level contacts with denominational and ministry leaders, identifying outreach strategies that drive the CMA program's alignment, engagement, and growth. Build lasting relationships with new and existing partner organizations. Ensure successful development and execution of member engagement and sales campaigns with a drive for measurable outcomes to increase engagement and revenue. Design annual partnership strategies to increase engagement and participation in CMA membership and ADF's advocacy work. Organize meaningful denominational and ministry partner review meetings that deliver performance data and membership usage insights. Evaluate the effectiveness of strategic and partner relationships and engagement in providing positive ROI. Grow the CMA program in your assigned regions: Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with members, partners, and prospects using various communication and relationship-building strategies. Work with the Member Engagement Director to design and organize City Group participation, CMA presentations, and legal summits. Build out regional & vertical communication and presentation strategies to recruit new members to CMA. Ensure timely communication of renewals and member relations needs, i.e., benefit questions, contact data, member portal access, and all related information. Utilize the CMA Member Engagement process to connect with members monthly and track engagement. Coordinate ADF Attorney calls with top-tier members on regional topics or legal services to educate & equip members on ADF issues and how to engage. Work with the CMA team to annually create an ADF Summit invite strategy. Develop and manage new member prospect opportunities and lead pipeline. Identify, visit, and recruit churches and ministries to participate in the CMA program. This includes in-person visits, phone calls, strategic communications, webinar presentations, and attendance at church denominational gatherings, Christian ministry meetings, and similar settings. Manage the operations of your region: Attend all team meetings (weekly, bimonthly, monthly chapel, and 1:1 meetings). Regularly use CRM to maintain logs of communication and track interactions with members and prospects. Accountable for team documentation and reporting of sales and member engagement goals and results. Track team events, activities, partner, member, and prospect participation. As a Team Leader, you will: Establish excellent rapport and working relations among the regional team. Develop, execute, maintain, and direct team strategies to achieve membership and recruiting goals. Work with each team member to develop their role and contribution. Act as a servant leader by training, encouraging, coaching, and developing your team members. Foster a spirit of trust and innovation on your team, adhering to ADF's core values and competencies. Meet regularly with your Team Members to discuss their progress and complete performance reviews. Approve PTO requests, timecards, and expense reports. Coordinate and train your team in relationship development, sales, customer services, and compelling messaging. Other Responsibilities (Non-Essential):

Demonstrated proficiency in: Strong written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking skills, leadership and be self-motivated. Ability to work as part of a team in a mission-minded way with a growth mindset. Strong relationship builder. Proven time management, planning, organizational and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure, to be part of a team, and to meet deadlines. Experience with Microsoft Office. Ability to:
Travel approximately 25-35% of the time is required. Creatively sell ideas and achieve campaign buy-in. Persuade others, including attaining financial contributions. Prioritize, multitask, and achieve deadline goals. Work, motivate, and initiate within a team and independently. Education and/or experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. 7-10 years experience in ministry, business development, fundraising, or sales. Minimum of 3 years of leadership development and people management experience. Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $92,000 - $116,000 per year. This salary is reflective of a position based in Washington, DC. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and office location. Alliance Defending Freedom offers team members a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes major medical insurance, dental care, medical and dependent care reimbursement, paid disability, long-term care insurance, and life insurance.
