The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the organization. This includes managing office operations, organizing files and records, setting up meetings, preparing documents, and providing general customer service. The Administrative Assistant should possess excellent organizational skills, be able to multitask and prioritize tasks, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should also be proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software programs. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.Essential Job Functions:Answer and direct phone callsOrganize and schedule meetings and appointmentsWrite and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and formsAssist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reportsDevelop and maintain a filing systemMaintain contact listsBook travel arrangementsSubmit and reconcile expense reportsProvide general support to visitorsAssist members with creating/renewing/troubleshooting membership records.Comfortable answering and researching member inquiries, using the most appropriate communication method.General office duties related to processing mail, receiving deliveries, and welcoming visitors to the office.Write and send acknowledgment letters to donors.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills:Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills```{=html}``` - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Strong problem-solving skills - Strong attention to detail - Self-starterOur office is accessible by St. Louis Metrolink, in the Union Station complex.
