General Summary of Duties: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the Office Manager for a physician’s team. Provides administrative support by scheduling new and follow up appointments. Ensures patient calls are handled timely, customer service held in highest regards and the primary focus. Promote a work environment conducive to harmonious work relationships and high staff morale.

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN A MEDICAL OFFICE.

 

  1. Knowledge of health care policies and procedures, including health insurance.
  2. Knowledge of medical terminology, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  3. Knowledge of computer programs and applications.
  4. Knowledge of EMR.
