We are seeking a Mortgage Admin Assistant to join a growing financial institute in San Diego. This person will be responsible for supporting Loan Coordinators, answering and directing calls, data entry, filing, and office administration work. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience, mortgage loan knowledge and excellent communication and organizational skills. Apply now for consideration!

Responsibilities:

  • Providing real-time scheduling support to Mortgage Loans Coordinators by booking appointments and preventing conflicts.
  • Making travel arrangements, such as booking flights, cars, and making hotel and restaurant reservations.
  • Screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate party.
  • Using computers to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research.
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
  • Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
  • Working alongside the Mortgage Loan Coordinator to assist with loan processing
  • Ensure all leads and clients are entered into the database
  • Other duties as needed.


Requirements:

  • Associate degree in related field.
  • Prior administrative experience.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially typing.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Multilingual may be preferred or required.
  • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
  • Encompass software experience is a plus but not required
  • Mortgage Loan Services experience is a plus
