Leavitt Christensen & Co., PLLC is an established certified public accounting firm known for our commitment to excellence and integrity for our clients. We work in the low-income housing and employee benefit plan accounting industries. We are skilled with auditing, financial statement preparation, income tax and tax research.
Position Summary
We are seeking a new team member who can adapt to the busy and slower periods of the accounting industry and support our team in delivering exceptional service to our client. This individual will play a key role in keeping our team organized, managing administrative tasks and interacting with clients.
Key Responsibilities
· Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to team members.
· Client Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling phone calls and inquiries and providing a welcoming atmosphere in the office.
· Document Management: Assist with preparing, formatting, and organizing client documents, including financial statements and tax returns.
· Data Entry & Filing: Maintain accurate client records, including digital and paper filing systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
· Project Coordination: Help coordinate various projects, including tracking deadlines, setting reminders, and communicating with team members.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Experience: 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in business management or an accounting firm.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel); experience with accounting software (such as QuickBooks) or CRM tools is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Organization: Highly organized, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Professionalism: Strong attention to detail and a high level of discretion in handling sensitive information.
