Responsibilities:
The Department of Biological & Chemical Sciences is inviting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant position for its Manhattan campus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the department chair in the operation of the office
- Assist and support department faculty with course scheduling and assignments
- Assist with student/faculty/course issues (registration, scheduling, room changes, final exam scheduling, etc.)
- Assign students to faculty advisors; e) answer telephones and emails
- Data entry of laboratory supply orders, office supply orders and textbook orders
- Supervise undergraduate college work study students for the department
- Process compensation of full and part-time faculty
- Maintain office supplies (paper, ink, grade books, etc.) for the department.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree is required.
Previous experience in administration is preferred.
Proficiency in working with PC based programs including Microsoft Office.
Strong written, organizational and communications skills.

USD $45,000.00/Yr.
