Job Summary
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for establishing and maintaining standards for systems analysis, requirements gathering, and project artifact development, standards for vendor management and responsible for the analysis of new business system development and improvement of existing business processes. The Senior Business Analyst is expected to work towards the goal of maximizing business value delivery through application development. The Senior Business Analyst is also in charge of partnering with senior business and IT leadership groups to assist in the prioritization of projects. Responsibilities
Performing workflow analysis, creating workflow diagrams and making recommendations for procedural improvements - understanding and articulating "current state" and "future state" of various systems. Performing and preparing Impact Analysis documentation with the help of the project teams for new systems or enhancements to existing systems. Establishing and maintaining approaches, methods, procedures, and standards for the analysis of the broad range of operational and enterprise applications. Demonstrating by example the benefits of new approaches and methods that shorten development life cycles, reduce rework, and improve the capability of purchased and developed solutions. Developing and guiding team members in requirements elicitation, analysis, and functional specification activities for complex projects or programs. Developing and maintaining training materials for business analysts and programmers for various system and functionalities. The Senior Business Analyst will be involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation to closing, to ensure that the technical solution meets business needs. Advancing and broadening the business analysis competency, standards and processes to support the strategic and long term objectives for the organization acting as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for various eCommerce applications. Ensuring compliance with standards and practices to establish higher quality deliverables. Collecting and analyzing metrics to enable and lead continuous improvement of the Business Analysis processes. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience. 15 years of software development including Business Analysis experience on projects where Information Technology was a primary component. 10 years of Business Analysis Experience in Property and Casualty Insurance domain. Detailed understanding of Policy Admin, eCommerce, Billing, Claims and financial applications along with understanding of various third party integrations like LexisNexis Prefill, CREDIT, MRV, CLUE etc. is a must. Experience with Web Analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager etc. is a must. Excellent understanding of Web Service and APIs and familiarity with SQL, XML, HTML, XSLT, JSON etc. Demonstrated ability to apply disciplined and rigorous approaches to analysis that include object and entity-relationship modeling, state-transition diagramming, and related approaches to custom developed application. Demonstrated ability to support digital capabilities (e.g., development of interactive web-based applications). Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical capability; ability to think strategically, solve problems and recommend approaches and solutions. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Project) strong emphasis on MS Visio (wireframes and workflows). Minimum 8 years of experience. Business Objects and Agile Methodology experience. Work Hours

$55.00 - 59.97 per hour Benefits
