Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Development of pipeline and assist with pipeline management of drug discovery products including research reagents, screening reagents, cell-based assays, and assays for the discovery and development of biologic drugs. Support marketing to reinforce positioning and messaging via webinars, client presentations, and field-based training to BDs. Understand market, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Work with Products Sales Director to implement client-specific programs. Uncover new opportunities and help follow-up marketing leads (tradeshows, etc.). Achieve/exceed assigned revenue targets in designated region. Input leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities into the company CRM and consistently maintain the accuracy of these records. Provide monthly forecast of business utilizing tools defined by sales management. Create and update key account plans in the company CRM for use in creating and presenting to Eurofins Discovery leadership on a quarterly basis. Primary liaison across commercial and market development organization for Products. Subject Matter Expert (SME) on product and technical capabilities for designing and managing high-value, multi-stage, drug discovery or drug development projects. Work with operations teams globally to design and deliver proposals. Performs other duties as required and assigned. Demonstrates and promotes the company vision. Regular attendance and punctuality. Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner. Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines. Adheres to site employee health and safety (EHS) requirements. Minimum Requirements: BS in biology or related field and 3 years related client-facing experience in drug discovery. MS or PhD in life sciences field preferred. Experience in design of drug discovery programs for multiple therapeutic areas with experience working on pharma drug development. Experience in drug discovery process, project management, and bringing drugs to market is required. Ability to travel with overnight stays globally. Ability to present using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to public groups and/or individual decision makers. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables. Ability to positively interface with a client, regulatory and internal company base. Experience in liaising across functional areas and managing cross-site efforts including those of external collaborators and CROs. Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills. Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Excellent full-time benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision options.
