Job Description
The Warehouse Admin Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our warehouse administration. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of orders, ensuring smooth communication and liaison with our transportation team, and handling various other warehouse-related administrative tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Order Management:
Analyze, print, and organize orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Review and evaluate blocked orders to determine and execute the appropriate action for each case.
Support wholesale order shipments and processing.
Interdepartmental liaison:
Work closely with our transportation team to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and communicate any shipment issues.
Liaise with the VP of Operations on warehouse-related tasks and updates.
Inventory Management Support:
Help coordinate cycle counts and stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
Communication:
Serve as the point of contact for any warehouse-related administrative inquiries and providing updates to relevant teams.
Administrative Support:
Handle additional warehouse-related administrative tasks, contributing to a well-organized and efficient warehouse environment.
Coordinate the ordering and inventory of consumables, including labels, paper, boxes, and other necessary materials to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Generate and maintain regular reports on key warehouse metrics for management review.
Staff Management:
Support warehouse and fulfillment staff to ensure efficient processes.
Process Improvement:
Design and implement processes to promote a more efficient and organized work environment.
Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse tasks and update as processes evolve.
Requirements
Knowledgeable in MS Office
Experience in using Slack for in-team Communication
Experience using any Warehouse Management System
At least a High School Diploma or GED.
Punctual, reliable, with excellent math and counting skills, and extreme attention to detail to ensure 100% accuracy.
Good ability to read, write, and speak English. Authorized to work in the United States.
Work Hours: 9AM - 4PM Eastern Standard Time
Compensation: up to $18 per hour (depending on experience)
