We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team at Destiny Healthcare Services, Inc. This role is significant in ensuring efficient front desk operations and providing administrative support to maintain the smooth running of our homecare services. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages promptly
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
- Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining client files and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with agency policies.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and correspondence.
- Support the onboarding process by organizing paperwork and assisting new hires with documentation.
- Order and manage office supplies to ensure the office is stocked and organized
- Assist management with reports, scheduling, and any special projects as needed
- Prepare and distribute internal communication and notices.
- Provide outstanding service to clients and staff, demonstrating empathy and discretion
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent ( Required )
- 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant, preferably in a healthcare or homecare setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Bilingual Spanish and English is REQUIRED
