Multifamily Credit Underwriting and Operations - Senior Associate (Flexible Hybrid)

In this position, you will be accountable for performing compliance with Multifamily Credit Underwriting procedures to identify potential risks that may lead to operational, reputational, financial, and credit risks, as well as communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders across Multifamily and the Multifamily Enterprise Risk Management team. This position will serve as a key member of the Multifamily Credit Underwriting team with primary responsibility for governance and compliance activities associated with the pre-acquisition process for multifamily loans. THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE The Multifamily Credit Underwriting and Operations - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining governance activities by maintaining procedures and internal credit guidance of the Multifamily Credit Underwriting business. Perform compliance reviews and reporting of Credit Underwriting activities in accordance with internal procedures. Provide administrative support for Internal Audits, FHFA Exams, and Enterprise Risk Management activities. Ensure Credit Underwriting is meeting timeline deliverables for various issues identified by Internal Audit, FHFA Exam, and Enterprise Risk Management. Provide project management activities for the Credit Underwriting team. THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Minimum Required Experience: 2 years related experience Familiarity with Multifamily credit; project-level market and economic analysis and sponsor financial statement analysis. Adept at managing project plans to ensure successful project completion. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills Desired Experience: 5 years related experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's degree preferred Fannie Mae is a flexible hybrid company.
