Job Description:AT&T is hiring for an
AVP, Market Development
to lead our go-to-market strategy for B2B customers. This role will be responsible for developing marketing and sales opportunities by creating strategic alliances, partnership programs with other companies and creating strategies for expanding distribution.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Development:Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to drive customer acquisition and cross-selling of new products within the AT&T Business product portfolio.Formulate plans that target specific market segments and customer needs across all channels.Customer Acquisition:Identify potential customers for wireline and wireless products by analyzing fiber availability, geographic locations, share of wallet, customer behaviors, and market insights.Implement targeted campaigns to attract and engage potential customers.Funnel Growth & Conversion:Direct account-based go-to-market plays to drive funnel growth and conversion across various channels.Ensure that all activities are aligned with the overall business goals and objectives.Channel and Seller Enablement:Equip sales channels with the necessary training, content, tools, and communication strategies to effectively engage with prospects and customers.Develop resources that enhance the ability of sales teams to convert leads and close deals.Data Analytics & Performance Monitoring:Leverage data analytics to track and measure the effectiveness of customer acquisition strategies and initiatives.Utilize performance metrics to refine and optimize approaches continuously.Reporting:Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on the success of targeting initiatives, including white space and converged efforts.Use data-driven analysis to inform strategic decisions and adjustments.Collaboration and Leadership:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer service, to ensure cohesive go-to-market efforts.Lead and inspire direct team members to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.QualificationsProven experience in strategic development and execution within a business-to-business (B2B) environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market insights.Excellent leadership and collaboration skills with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Experience in customer acquisition, sales enablement, and data-driven performance monitoring.Joining our team comes with amazing perks and benefits:Medical/Dental/Vision coverage401(k) planTuition reimbursement programPaid Time Off and Holidays (based on date of hire, at least 28 days of vacation each year and 9 company-designated holidays)Long Term Grants and Deferred CompensationPaid Parental LeavePaid Caregiver LeaveAdditional sick leave beyond what state and local law require may be available but is unprotected.Adoption ReimbursementDisability Benefits (short term and long term)Life and Accidental Death InsuranceSupplemental benefit programs: critical illness/accident hospital indemnity/group legalEmployee Assistance Programs (EAP)Extensive employee wellness programsEmployee discounts up to 50% off on eligible AT&T mobility plans and accessories, AT&T internet (and fiber where available) and AT&T phone.AT&T is leading the way to the future – for customers, businesses and the industry.
