Our Tax Advisory services encompass a range of areas, including M&A, Structuring, Interim Tax Management, Distressed and Bankruptcy concerns and General Tax Consulting including Sales and Use Tax and Tax Technology solutions. With our expertise in these domains, we offer tailored guidance and strategic counsel to meet the unique needs of each client. Who You Are:

Masters in Taxation, JD or LLM 7+ years of state and local tax experience; preferably with Big 4 or large CPA firm experience Strong knowledge of state income and franchise taxes Ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects which include income, franchise, sales and use, excise, transfer taxes, as well as other state taxes Play a key role in business development activities Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, exhibit a sense of urgency, and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects Ability to manage multiple engagements in a team environment Thrive in an ever-changing, dynamic work environment and readily identify problems and instinctively look for solutions Enjoy participating in internal and external company initiatives such as community service, training, recruiting, and firm events Ability and desire to travel as needed What You’ll Do:

Provide state and local tax planning and consulting services to multi-state clients Provide Interim Tax Management support for state and local tax obligations Provide state tax support for Restructuring and Turnaround Services, Structuring projects, M&A transactions Research and draft technical memorandum discussing potential consequences of business transactions Address clients’ state tax concerns, including voluntary disclosure agreements, audit defense, other tax controversy Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and delivering quality and timely projects Serve as thought leader in Tax by publishing articles, participating in speaking engagements, and attending tax conferences Assist with managing client engagement setup, staffing, and billing Other duties as assigned The expected pay range for this position is $120,000 - $210,000 (exclusive of bonus, equity, or benefits for which this role may be eligible). This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making individual compensation decisions including but not limited to experience and training; skill sets; licensure and certifications; location and other business and organizational needs; and applicable laws.
