Job DescriptionVuori is looking for a Director, Retail Analytics, to join our Retail team to help drive strategy and decisions for sales forecasting, and store performance. This individual will be tasked with building the framework and processes necessary to deliver comprehensive sales forecasting, KPI analysis, and actionable business recommendations. With a deep understanding of retail dynamics, this role will play a pivotal role in supporting Vuori’s growth and expansion.
QualificationsWhat you'll get to do:
- Design and implement a comprehensive sales forecasting framework, ensuring alignment with company objectives and growth targets.
- Oversee the analysis of comp trends, retail KPIs, and other key metrics. Develop and refine dashboards to provide visibility into performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the data and analytics department, finance, merchandising, and operations to ensure that reporting and insights align with broader company goals.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market shifts. Integrate external data sources and macroeconomic factors into retail performance analysis.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data-driven analysis. Ensure that the Retail Sales Analysis team is a critical partner in decision-making processes.
- Continuously assess and refine the processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and impact. Implement best practices in data management and analysis.
- Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for self-service and management/operational reporting via industry leading technology and best practices.
- Introduce, execute and support innovative & proactive analytical techniques and technologies enabling business analytic capabilities and driving ROI.
- Prototype and build analytic and visualization tools using self-service analytic tools
- Collaborate with a team of employees and consultants to deliver best in class analytic solutions as part of business analytic capability driven product team.
Who you are:
- 8+ years of product management experience in defining business analytic capabilities, breaking them down into actionable components and work cross functionally to deliver value
- Strong analytical, mathematical and logical thinking
- Experience identifying use cases opportunities for Data Science & Advanced Analytics, building POC's to prove out value and justify investment
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with and effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to engage and manage through influence across a large international organization, preferably in retail space

The salary range for this role is $180,000 per year - $200,000 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
