RPh on the Go is hiring: Staff Retail Pharmacist- Maine in Lisbon

RPh on the Go is currently seeking a Staff Retail Pharmacist to join a busy pharmacy in Maine. This full-time position offers Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with a Saturday shift (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) required every three weeks. The pharmacy uses the Pioneer system and ScriptPro robot, handling about 300 prescriptions per day. Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and check medication orders for accuracy and safety.
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
• Provide clinical support and answer questions from patients and healthcare providers.
• Assist the Pharmacy-In-Charge (PIC) with other duties as required.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Operate the ScriptPro robot and utilize Pioneer pharmacy software.
• Maintain patient records and ensure the accuracy of medication dispensed.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM 7:00 PM.
• Saturday shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM every three weeks.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of recent retail pharmacy experience.
• Active Maine Pharmacy License in good standing.
• Must be available to start ASAP.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate and counsel patients.
