Pride Health is hiring a Retail Pharmacist for our client in Lake Isabella, California. This is a full-time contract position offering a 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, providing a great opportunity to contribute to patient care in a supportive, health-care focused environment. The role is ideal for an experienced pharmacist looking for a dynamic, retail pharmacy setting with no weekend shifts!

Job Summary:

Pride Health is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Retail Pharmacist to join our client’s team in Lake Isabella, California. This contract position offers a set schedule of 4 days a week (9 am – 6 pm), with no weekends required. The pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing prescriptions, overseeing pharmacy technicians and clerks, and ensuring proper billing and compliance with state and federal regulations. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in pharmacy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage both clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Dispense prescriptions, including SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) prescriptions.

·         Supervise pharmacy technicians and clerks, particularly in billing and workflow coordination.

·         Ensure accuracy in billing and prescription order fulfillment.

·         Maintain records of controlled substances, prescriptions, and inventory.

·         Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

·         Assist in onboarding new services for the community.

Qualifications:

·         Active California Pharmacy License.

·         BS in Pharmacy required (Pharm D preferred).

·         Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office and preferably PrimeCare (QS1) software.

Additional Information:  

·         Location: Lake Isabella, CA 

·         Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract

·         Shifts: Day Shift 4 10's 9am to 6pm

·         Pay Range: $60/hr - $65/hr
