Assist and work collaboratively with assigned Directors and with the Vice President of Residential Services in providing effective consistent management and clinical programming to residential programs. Provide effective leadership and directly supervise assigned Directors in a large network of programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Required to accept and incorporate the values and guiding principles of both the RTR Mission Statement and Values and the DDS Mission Statement. These statements highlight ensuring empowerment of individuals and their families to be the primary decision makers about their lives and supports. In addition, they compel us to serve persons with all levels of complexity.
Work in conjunction with the Vice President of Residential Services on the fiscal management for each program, which includes monitoring staffing patterns, use of relief staff, and monitoring weekly person served payroll and attendance.
Work collaboratively with the Vice President and Directors to further evaluate and promote the individuals with disabilities that we serve into community.
Monitor compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing residential programs.
Meets with Managers and Directors as part of the management team. Attend program staff meetings on a regular basis and meet with program staff as needed for support or problem resolution.
Work with Program Managers and Directors to ensure member and staff training is on-going and up to date.
Provides ongoing direction, support, and training in ISP development and implementation.
Play a leadership role in crisis intervention.
Ensures that supervision meetings/paperwork and annual staff evaluations are completed in a timely, organized fashion with all programs.
Evaluate the performance of management staff and program staff in their duties and make recommendations for staff development and program improvement.
Communicate and develop positive working relationships with all stakeholders including relevant state agencies, family members and other provider agencies.
Cooperate and interact with co-workers, members, volunteers, and funders in a collaborative, courteous, empathic, and professional manner. Demonstrate willingness and ability to be part of a team effort.
Attend weekly Senior Staff Meetings.
Work in conjunction with the Human Resource Department, Directors, and Vice President to oversee and/or resolve all personnel issues within each program.
Provide administrative review of ISP and be the liaison between DDS and RTR when needed.
Provide each program with appropriate modeling and direction to effectively mentor all staff.
Prepare for and adhere to all accreditation standards.
Take a lead role in staff recruitment, and the interview process.
Participates in admissions process and program monthly Board of Admission review.
Participate in on-the-job training and provide coaching to new co-workers as directed.
Represent RTR in trade association meetings as assigned and share information with the Vice President and other program staff.
Attends all required meetings.
Adhere to agency safety standards.
Perform additional duties or substitute for others as required.
Adhere to all RTR policies and procedures.
Develop and provide all services in accordance with RTRs philosophies including Staff and Board beliefs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the direct supervision of all assigned Directors and the indirect supervision of all staff in the programs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS in human service profession with five years of increasingly more responsible positions within human service agency. Higher academic education may be substituted for experience.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
Thorough knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis, counseling, and crisis intervention.
Valid Drivers License.
Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be fluent in English and have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
