Type: Full-time (Note Store Closed on Monday + Tuesday)
Pay: Range $45-55k w/bonus potential – Depends on Experience

Position Summary
The Store Manager will oversee daily operations, lead the sales team, and collaborate with the founder on strategic initiatives. This role combines hands-on leadership with back-office coordination to ensure smooth vendor communication and prompt ordering of sold-to-order items, maintaining a high standard of service and seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the founder to set store goals, sales strategies, and maintain brand presentation standards.
- Client Engagement: Foster a welcoming environment, guiding clients through selections and custom orders to match Gibson’s design aesthetic. Build relationships for returning customers.
- Inventory & Vendor Management: Regularly liaise with the Procurement Coordinator to manage inventory and coordinate orders with vendors for custom and sold-to-order items.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and motivate the sales team to deliver a cohesive and client-centered shopping experience.
- Sales & Financial Oversight: Track sales performance, manage budgets, and support revenue growth alongside the founder.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure that store presentation reflects Gibson’s on Central’s warm modern style.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years in retail management, ideally in high-end or boutique settings, with a focus on home decor or furniture.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; a collaborative spirit with an eye for design.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering a personalized, elevated experience that aligns with Gibson’s brand.
