Pharmacy on 8th LLC is hiring: Retail Staff Pharmacist in Wellman

Pharmacy on 8th, an Independent Community Pharmacy is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented, self-starter, and innovative full-time or Part-time Pharmacist.  The pharmacist will assist the Pharmacist owner managing day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with the federal and state rules and regulations. The pharmacist will ensure patients better understand the safe and appropriate use of all prescription medications and over-the-counter medications thorough counseling. The pharmacist will also have the opportunity to practice their skills in immunization, medication therapy management and soon point of care testing. 

Responsibilities:

• Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medications
• Provide patients with pertinent drug information
• Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage
• Supervise and maintain records of all medications

Minimum requirements:

BS Pharm or Pharm D (open to recent graduates)

Licensed Pharmacist 

BLS certification

Certified Immunization administrator
