Overview:
The Associate Project Manager will work alongside a Managing Director (former notable news correspondent)at the firm, serving as the organizational lead to help guide the execution of various projects. This person will assist the Managing Director in thinking strategically about how to craft projects, spot opportunities and issues and see around corners both internally and externally. They will also work as an administrative partner to the Managing Director, helping to manage their calendar, client scheduling requests, and track revenue.
Responsibilities:
Administrative
Serve as administrative support to Managing Director
Manage day-to-day calendars, including scheduling internal and external meetings using Microsoft Outlook, and fielding all incoming meeting requests.
Be an effective ‘gatekeeper’; assess inquiries directed to the Managing Director, determine appropriate course of action and delegate responsibilities accordingly
Prepare, organize and track important documents, including but not limited to SOWs, LOAs and economic proposals
Arrange business travel as needed
Business Development
Attend new business calls alongside Managing Director, taking notes and handling any follow up
Work on new business decks, often from inception to presentation
Track all new business prospects and ensure they are being followed up with appropriately
Attend and be an active participant in new business pitches
Ensure all new clients are set up effectively and given a “fast start”
Editorial Project Support
Assist the Managing Director with running and eventually producing on-camera media training sessions
Attend media training sessions with Managing Director, taking notes, offering counsel, and coordinating follow-up
Act as a producer for bespoke meetings, ensuring the Managing Director has all prep materials in advance of client meetings
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
2-3 years of experience, ideally within a Project Management, Production or Public Relations environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Self-starter, able to take initiative
Must be resourceful and a strong problem-solver
Works well in a collaborative environment

The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000-$70,000. An employee's salary is determined by a range of factors including but not limited to relevant experience, qualifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is one component of Prosek's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, new business commission, paid time off, and other benefits.
