YOUR FUTURE ROLE
P&C – The People and Culture board area enables the organization to develop the skills, culture and workforce needed for successful execution of SAP strategy.
The Change & Culture unit is a new addition to P&C with the mandate to provide a systematic change architecture and consistent approaches to culture and change across SAP. The C&C head reports directly to the Executive Board member Gina Vargiu and orchestrates evolving the culture and building change capacity in the organization.
Our team is a people-focused organization dedicated to driving positive and sustainable change with the mandate and expertise to design and implement organizational development (OD) interventions and change management strategies that empower people, foster resilience, and build SAP’s capacity for change. We build and nurture communities and networks through which we deliver change management for strategic programs and scale to all employees.
Our internal customers for Change Management are teams and leaders across the company whose organizations are impacted by shifts in processes, ways of working, re-organizations, and other changes. Our OD practice focuses on interventions with leaders, teams and individual contributors to evolve SAP culture such that it supports growth of the business and a thriving work environment.
Culture and Organizational Development Change Expert
- This role will focus on transforming how our employees interact, collaborate, and engage with the organization’s values and mission. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in organizational development (OD) and be passionate about reshaping company culture to drive long-term success. You will work closely with senior leadership, HR teams, and other stakeholders to design and execute strategies that foster a positive, inclusive, and growth culture at SAP. Key responsibilities include: Understand the current and target cultures, co-design and monitor a multi-year plan aimed to shift the organizational culture in alignment with the company’s mission, values, and goals. Partner with executives, department heads, and HRBPs to gain buy-in and alignment for culture change initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on matters related to organizational culture and change. Conduct comprehensive assessments of the current organizational culture through employee surveys, focus groups, and data analytics. Use these insights to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Design and implement programs, workshops, and initiatives aimed at embedding new cultural norms and behaviors. Drive OD capability by providing coaching to leaders and managers on how to model and reinforce desired cultural behaviors. Track performance of OD practice along defined KPIs and promote a continuous improvement mindset. YOUR PROFILE 6-10 years of working experience in supporting complex culture change at the enterprise level. Master's degree or equivalent in social science, business, or related field. Professional certification in OD and/or change management. Experience working internally in large organizations / corporates. Strong facilitation and coaching skills. Excellent communication and storytelling abilities. Resilience and adaptability in the face of ambiguity.
