We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst who, working closely with our VP of Technology and cross-functional internal partners, will be an integral member of Knight Law Group’s back-office operation.
The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in the Technology department by leveraging data to drive strategic decisions, optimize business processes, and support client service initiatives within the firm. This position requires a strong background in data analytics within a Microsoft environment, including Azure, and familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support various departments, including marketing, client services, and legal operations. Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Microsoft Environment: Utilize Microsoft Azure for data storage, integration, and analysis. Work with Azure SQL, Power BI, and other Microsoft tools to streamline data processes and ensure data integrity.
- Salesforce Management: Support the management and optimization of the firm’s Salesforce system, including Salesforce development and integrations. Analyze client data, monitor data quality, and assist in Salesforce apps integration projects.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with Technology and other departments to develop and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy across platforms. Develop data pipelines and automation workflows using Azure, Salesforce and other tools.
- Predictive Analytics: Apply statistical methods and machine learning models to forecast trends, enhance business strategies, and improve client outcomes.
- Data Governance: Assist in maintaining data governance standards, ensuring data privacy, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with IT, HR, Marketing, and Client Services teams to understand data needs, provide technical support, and ensure data-driven decision-making across the firm.
Ideal Candidate Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about turning data into actionable insights.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis within a professional environment, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, and Power BI.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms; familiarity with CRM data structures and integration processes.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, APEX) for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
