Job Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Director to oversee the daily operations of the Diehl Club. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth operational processes, compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, and creating an environment that fosters community engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple aspects of Club operations while supporting the organization’s mission to inspire and enable youth.
Key Responsibilities :
Program Oversight : Oversee the daily operations of the CACFP Food Program, ensuring adherence to government regulations and compliance with health and safety standards. Collaborate with the Culinary Department to ensure the efficient delivery and quality of meals, maintaining accurate records and reporting.
Facility Management : Lead the maintenance and upkeep of all Club facilities, including outdoor areas such as the football field and grounds. Oversee the scheduling and use of the training facility, ensuring that equipment and resources are readily available and well-maintained. Conduct regular audits of the building to identify areas needing repair or improvement and submit maintenance requests. Work closely with the Operations team to address issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring the facility remains safe and welcoming for all members.
Vendor & Service Coordination : Serve as the primary liaison with vendors, ensuring all service providers are fully credentialed and meet organizational standards. Manage the relationship with cleaning service providers, conducting daily audits to ensure the facility meets cleanliness standards and complies with all health and safety guidelines.
Safety & Security : Collaborate with the Safety Department to ensure full compliance with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) safety standards. Plan and execute monthly safety drills to prepare staff and youth for emergency situations. Oversee Club security measures and serve as the point of contact for ADT, ensuring the safety and security of the facility at all times.
Transportation Management : Coordinate transportation services for Club members, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols. Liaise with the Transportation Department to arrange and communicate transportation logistics effectively, ensuring smooth operations and member safety.
Supply Chain & Inventory : Manage the procurement and inventory of all facility supplies, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and proper allocation. Ensure that supplies are adequately stocked, tracked, and available for daily use without disruptions to programming or operations.
Facility Rentals & Community Engagement : Actively increase and manage facility rental bookings, promoting the Club as a resource to the community. Work to expand the Club’s outreach and engagement with local organizations, ensuring the Club remains a hub of activity and support for the surrounding community.
Youth Development : Provide leadership and mentorship to youth, with a focus on creating an inclusive, supportive, and empowering environment that encourages personal growth. Promote and model positive behavior, ensuring that all interactions align with the organization’s mission to inspire and engage youth.
