We are looking for a Software Development Data Analyst to support the creation of new data visualizations at the direction of the Platform Lead, identify strategies to automate work, and increase efficiency by leveraging approved tools (e.g., UIPath, NiFi, Airflow), document key procedures to ensure service continuity, ensure that data used in visualizations is accurate and represents the intended information, and identify opportunities to use existing data to provide improved / new insights to the leadership team.
The Software Development Data Analyst will use quantitative tools and programmatic methods to identify patterns and relationships within large data sets. The Data Analyst will provide support to the project team to ensure optimal data solutions. This position will focus on data in Development, Testing, and Evaluation (DTE) setting.
Role, Responsibilities, and Competencies:
- Perform tasks which may include obtaining data through advanced computerized models, modelling unstructured data, identifying data quality issues.
- Extrapolate data patterns through advanced algorithms; developing simple graphs and charts to explain how the mathematical information will influence the specific project or business.
- Present to managers how to best alter their business models to generate profitable future trends.
- Experience in government information systems and databases preferred.
- Ability to apply emerging & disruptive software to address organizational needs.
- Ability to collaborate and foster partnerships with Business and T&E colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving and consensus-building skills, data-driven and analytical.
- Ability to multi-task and contribute to projects in various stages of development across multiple programs.
- Excellent executive-level verbal and written communication skills; capable of tailoring messages in a clear, concise, unambiguous, engaging, and convincing manner.

Qualifications, Education, and Skills Requirements
- US Citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related fields.
- One to three years of relevant experience in data analytics and software testing.
- Experience in government information systems and databases.
- Experience with metrics related to SDLC, DevOps, DevSecOps, and DORA.
- Proficiency in utilizing JIRA to manage product backlogs and Agile methodologies.
- Must have exceptional critical thinking and communication skills, data management concepts.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and PowerBI.
Additional Desires and Considerations
- Three to Five years of data analytic and software testing experience is desirable.
- Active Secret Clearance or recently held.
- Previous experience supporting DoD or Federal government health agencies.
- CDMP or other Data Analytics certification.
- Military or veteran hiring preference.
Preferred work location is within the Pensacola, FL Metropolitan Area. Hybrid work schedule 3 days onsite (Tue, Wed, Thu) and 2 days WFH (Mon, Fri) with potential for occasional travel to client headquarters.
