Sr Product Manager, Direct Fulfillment, Furniture

The Furniture category is one of Amazon’s fastest growing businesses and is focused on delivering a world-class customer experience. We are looking for a talented, driven, and highly analytical Sr. Product Manager to own and drive the Direct Fulfillment (DF) aspect of our business.

This Sr. Product Manager will work cross-functionally to deliver operational improvements, incremental profitability, and generate growth for the US Hardlines/Furniture Direct Fulfillment business. Direct Fulfillment (Dropship) works with Vendors to enable direct to consumer shipping from a vendor’s warehouse, allowing incremental sales and shipping efficiency for heavy-bulky products. This role will own initiatives to improve the customer and vendor experience around Direct Fulfillment. Key areas of focus include advocating for improved tools and processes to manage vendor volume and speed, creating new business reporting, expanding the DF program, training other Retail members on the benefits of DF, and improving profitability of the fulfillment channel. The candidate will own the full year strategy for Furniture Direct Fulfillment, and also work with Finance and Direct Fulfillment teams to craft the strategy for US Hardlines.

Strong candidates will be confident switching from an analytical mindset to influencing stakeholders. They should be able to uncover data-driven opportunities, implement long term, automated solutions, and communicate effectively with high-level leadership and Account Managers alike. The successful candidate must be highly organized, self-starting and possess strong data extraction and analytical capabilities. They must have proven successes in creating growth strategies and must be fearless but thoughtful in their pursuit of results and thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Experience with end to end product delivery Experience as a product manager or owner Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
