As a Data Analyst at Traba, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's strategy through data and business intelligence solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in driving data-driven initiatives, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends and maintain a competitive edge. You'll collaborate with teams across the company, including Operations, Product, Engineering, and the Executive team, experiencing the dynamic environment of a fast-growing startup from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute BI Strategies: Align comprehensive BI strategies with the company's goals and objectives.
Dashboard and Report Creation: Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide key business metrics and insights to stakeholders across Traba.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Leadership to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
Data Warehouse Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of Traba’s data warehouse to ensure data availability and governance.
Empower Team Members: Enable team members to answer their own analytics questions through the deployment of advanced technology and tools.
Strategic Insights: Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on ad hoc data analysis and BI findings.
Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in BI & analytics, implementing innovative solutions to enhance BI capabilities.
Subject Matter Expertise: Leverage proprietary data and industry reports to become a trusted expert on the light industrial space and global supply chain.
Qualifications:
Experience: 4+ years in analytics, data science, business intelligence, or similar roles.
Education: BS/MS degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, economics, finance, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in SQL.
Proficiency with Python, R, or ML modeling.
Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or equivalent.
Communication Skills: Excellent data storytelling skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work across departments, identifying and prioritizing analytics problems to deliver actionable insights.
Curiosity and Initiative: Intense curiosity to ask “why?” and use data to find answers, combined with a “no task too small” mentality.
Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with analytics notebook tools like Hex, Hyperquery, or equivalent.
Experience with modern data stack tools like dbt or equivalent.

The compensation range for this position is set between $110,000 and $140,000, reflecting our market analysis and other relevant considerations. However, exceptions may be made for candidates with qualifications that significantly differ from those outlined in the job description.
