The Data Analyst, reporting into the Data Governance team, will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights. This role will focus on the development and maintenance of PowerBI dashboards to support business intelligence needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in PowerBI, along with a solid understanding of data management and visualization techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Develop, design, and maintain interactive PowerBI dashboards and reports to support business objectives and decision-making processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven insights.
Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable recommendations.
Create and maintain documentation for data processes, dashboard designs, and analytical methodologies.
Ensure data security and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics, PowerBI, and business intelligence tools.
Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize PowerBI dashboards and reports.
Required
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Proficiency in PowerBI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL processes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques
