The Lead Operations Data Analyst seeks to gain insights into data related to Sherwin-Williams' global ERP solution. The analyst collects and analyzes data, identifies issues and trends, and provides valuable input to support enterprise reporting solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data accuracy, report performance and accessibility. Reporting within the Enterprise Data & Insights organization, the analyst will help to improve efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and manage risks by interpreting complex data sets. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Provide day-to-day support for enterprise reporting solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data accuracy, report performance and accessibility. Assist end-users with report-related inquiries and training. Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements, changes, and enhancements, and translate them into lean specifications. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions. Monitor report usage and performance. Make recommendations for optimizations and improvements needed. Manage report versioning, ensuring that reports are maintained and up to date with system changes and user requirements. Collaborate with data engineering on Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) of data from various sources to support report requirements. Document report development process and enforce best practices for report development, ensuring consistency and performance across all reports. Identify opportunities to improve existing reports and dashboards. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or in lieu of related degree, at least 8 years of experience in data analysis. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 8+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP applications. Proven experience in a techno-functional role, with the ability to bridge technical and business requirements. Familiarity with business operations, processes, and key functions. Experience communicating complex technical subjects to technical and non-technical audiences through developing documentation and training materials. Experience in coordinating with IT teams and stakeholders. Independent, curious, eager to tackle a wide variety of problems, and able to quickly develop knowledge and understanding of new domains and underlying data sources. Experience developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining standardized outcome metrics meeting diverse business needs. Experience developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining methodologies for standardized and repeatable reporting for internal and external audiences. Preferred: Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Experience with Agile (Scrum) methodologies and related tools (Jira). Experience supporting and managing cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
