Sr Product Manager - Tech, Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX)
Come lead the product direction for software development tools that improve the satisfaction and productivity of all Amazon software teams! As Sr. Product Manager - Tech, you will work with Amazon software builders as customers to define and deliver products (development, CI/CD, operations tools) that streamline the software development process, helping software teams world-wide deliver more software, faster. As a leader in our software tools organization, you will work closely with multiple development teams and our UX team to ensure a delightful development experience.
Key job responsibilities Specific responsibilities include: Collect data and feedback on the individual development process (i.e., rapid develop/test loops before code review) Own the definition and customer validation of Amazon-wide development tools that improve the software development workflow Collaborate with development teams to align on tool improvements, priority, and delivery timeline Work directly with software teams as customers to ensure their success
About the team The Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX) organization has a mission of creating the world’s best builder experience across tens of thousands of software engineers, and all Amazon businesses (e.g., AWS, Amazon Stores, etc.). Our Builder Tools team in ASBX owns the software development tools Amazon software teams use to develop, release, and manage their software. This role is for you if you’re passionate about software development, development tools, and having world-wide impact across all of Amazon!
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 3+ years of end to end product delivery experience - Experience working with software developers as customers of your products
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight - Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
