POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
The Sr. Manager, Continuous Improvement, is responsible for the planning and execution of site improvement projects (Lean & Six-Sigma) to fulfill the strategic objectives. Must have a comprehensive understanding of the Risk Assessment process. This leader will support the site by leading the Business Unit’s continuous improvement through the planning and implementation of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Partners with site & group leadership to lead the transformation to a culture of operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Delivers practical, hands-on training to associates on Lean manufacturing, and tools to eliminate waste in all administrative, manufacturing and support functions. Measures and reports progress for group level activities on an on-going basis.
Principal Activities
Lead and Program Manage site’s COS program to achieve business goals.
Fully committed and engaged with COS activities.
Responsible for regular COS assessments of facility, identifying gaps, developing solution recommendations & approvals, and creating & management of a RAIL.
Regularly communicate COS progress to both executive & senior leadership and associates.
Lead the training and implementation of problem-solving methodologies, tools, and critical thinking.
Facilitate and drive the use and compliance of problem-solving in all administrative, manufacturing, and support functions.
Regularly support and conduct Enterprise and Manufacturing Kaizen events at Corona and other sites when requested.
Coach, Facilitate, or Lead advanced improvement events including Value Stream Mapping of complex value streams, Kaizens, and projects.
Mentor CI Managers and support other sites when requested.
Other duties as assigned.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Experience in developing and implementing Problem-Solving Structures/Process.
Extensive hands-on experience in coaching, mentoring and leading problem-solving teams/projects.
Proven ability to drive problem-solving processes and culture.
Demonstrated lean manufacturing and improvement strategy development and implementation.
Experience with Mix Model Cells.
Experience with High Mix low Volume Manufacturing.
Experience with Business Process Kaizens and Improvement initiatives.
Ability to compile data, analyze data, and formulate improvement initiatives.
Strong team building skills and the ability to facilitate team-based initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business process improvement knowledge.
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Teacher and Coaching mentality.
Advanced project management skills.
Manufacturing operations process and tools.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering Discipline (Mechanical, Science, Technology, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent experience of 5 years or more.
5+ years leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certified a plus.

PAY RANGE:
$130,000.00 - $160,000.00. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
